Arrive early? You're welcome to use all community amenities (kitchen and lounge) while you wait. Complimentary luggage storage is available during check-in.

Required at check-in:

• Valid, non-expired government-issued photo ID
• USA citizens: out-of-state State ID or Driver's License (non-Hawaiian)
• International guests: foreign passport
• Proof of onward travel (flight or cruise ticket)

Student IDs and military IDs are not accepted. Failure to provide required documents will result in cancellation with no refund.

Check-Out

Before 11:00 AM

To check out, please:

• Return all linens (pillowcase only, not the pillow) and towels to the dirty laundry bins in your room
• Return your name tag and room key to the front desk

Late check-out fee: $25 per hour.

Luggage Storage

Complimentary during check-in and check-out only. We cannot offer overnight, long-term, or mid-stay storage.

The hostel does not offer guest parking. Nearby options:

• Free street parking: Monsarrat Ave, Ala Wai Blvd, Kapiolani Park (subject to restrictions)
• Metered parking: Paoakalani Ave & Kapahulu Ave
• Waikiki Banyan garage: $30/day or $150/week (cars) · $15/day (mopeds)

Moped Rental

There's a moped shop right next to the hostel. 10% guest discount available. Just mention you're staying with us!

Get off at the Waikiki Marriott stop. Walk toward the beach ~100m, turn left at the ABC store. Look for the green gate.

Bus requires exact change or a HOLO card (available at any ABC store). No rolling luggage allowed on the bus.

Late Night Arrivals (12 AM – 6 AM)

Take a taxi (~$29 flat rate), Uber, or pre-booked shuttle. Roberts Hawaii and SpeediShuttle operate at these hours. Arrange in advance.

Car & Moped Rental

• Car rental: Hotwire.com, Turo.com. Most locations at the airport
• Moped rental: Shop directly adjacent to the hostel · 10% guest discount available

Guest Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to walk up 4 flights of stairs independently (no elevator)
• Valid government-issued photo ID required at check-in
• Proof of onward travel required (flight or cruise ticket)
• Maximum stay: 28 days per 6-month period

Outside Guests

Outside guests are not allowed on the property. Guests who bring in outside visitors will be held liable for damages and asked to leave immediately.

Pets & Service Animals

ADA-defined service animals only (dogs or miniature horses individually trained for a specific task). Emotional support animals are not accepted. Handlers must keep animals under control at all times.

Quiet Hours

10:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Please be respectful of other guests.

Common Area Hours

Open 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM daily.

Security & Belongings

• Keep belongings in your luggage with a travel lock
• Lockers available. Locks sold for $5 at reception
• All luggage must stay next to or under your bed

Payment Rules

• VISA and Mastercard only. No cash accepted
• One-night deposit charged at booking to secure your reservation
• No hidden fees: no resort, cleaning, Wi-Fi, or printing fees

Cancellation Policy

Your policy depends on the booking platform and rate type. Always check your confirmation email for the exact terms.

• Standard Rate: Free cancellation. Refer to your confirmation for the exact deadline
• Non-Refundable Rate: No cancellation or refund once booked
• Super Saver / Last Minute Deals: Refundable with 48 hour notice

Down Payment / Deposit

One night's cost is charged immediately at booking to secure your reservation. This is applied toward your first night's stay. It is not an additional fee.

Changing Your Reservation

Contact the platform where you originally booked. For direct bookings:

Flight Cancellations or Delays

Email our staff with a written statement explaining the situation and what changes you'd like to make. We'll do our best to help.

Invalid Payment

If we cannot process your one-night deposit, your reservation will be automatically cancelled. Please ensure your card is valid before booking.
