Yes! We gladly accept walk-ins — no appointment necessary. Phone reservations are also available. Either way, we’re happy to have you.

Outside guests are not allowed on the property. Should anyone bring in an outside guest, they will be held liable for any damages and will be immediately asked to leave.

We welcome service animals as defined by the ADA — dogs (or miniature horses) individually trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability. Guests must keep service animals under control at all times. We do not accept emotional support animals.

Check-out time is anytime before 11:00 AM. To check out, please return all linens (excluding the pillow — just the pillowcase) and towels to the designated dirty laundry bins, and bring your name tag and room key back to the front desk. Late check-out incurs a fee of $25 per hour.

We offer: Private rooms, Semi-Private rooms, 4-Bed Dorm Deluxe (Co-Ed only), 4-Bed Dorm Standard, 6-Bed Dorm, and 8-Bed Dorm. The 4, 6, and 8 bed dorms have female-only and co-ed options.

All rooms are located on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors, accessible via stairs only. We do not have an elevator or lift. All guests must be able to carry their belongings up and down the stairs.

Beds are not pre-assigned and bottom or top bunk preferences cannot be guaranteed. Bedding is available on a first-come, first-served basis at check-in. Each guest is entitled to one bed only — not the entire bunk.

We are open 24/7 and our front desk is always here to help you.

Kitchen: Located on the 2nd floor at the end of the hallway. Fully equipped with oven, stovetop, fridge, sink, rice cooker, toaster, microwave, kettle, dishes, and utensils.

Main Lounge: A large social space where most events take place.

Quiet Lounge: A smaller, peaceful space behind Building C for unwinding.

Keep belongings inside your luggage with a travel lock. Lockers are available — we sell locks for $5 at reception. All guest luggage must remain in the room next to or under the bed.

All guests receive linens and one towel (by request) at check-in. Please return everything before check-out as described in the check-out process.

We offer complimentary luggage storage ONLY during check-in and check-out. We are unable to offer overnight, long-term, or storage during your stay.

The hostel does not offer guest parking. Free street parking is available on Monsarrat Ave, Ala Wai Blvd, and Kapiolani Park (oceanside) — subject to restrictions. Metered parking is on Paoakalani Ave and Kapahulu Ave. Waikiki Banyan parking garage offers overnight parking at $30/day or $150/week for cars, $15/day for mopeds.

Taxi: ~$50-65, about 20 minutes. Available at the center median outside baggage claim.

Shuttle: ~$25, about 45-60 minutes. We recommend Roberts Hawaii, VIP Transport, or Speedi Shuttle.

TheBus: $3, about 90 minutes on route #19 or #20. Get off at the Waikiki Marriott stop, walk toward the beach ~100m, then turn left at the ABC store. Look for the green gate.

Note: Bus requires exact change or HOLO card (available at any ABC store). No rolling luggage allowed on the bus.
